ah yes the world cup started a few days ago. and i'm still bugged that the normal sports channels aren't showing most of the matches. and my dad won't get the special world cup channels package thing. so thank god for malaysian and indonesian channels. haha. sctv (indon channel) is like showing ALL the matches, and it's a live telecast too. why didn't channel 5 repeat the last world cup and show all the matches too? sigh.
ah...in about 14 hours time, i will be watching soccer giants, BRAZIL making their appearance in germany. it's against croatia. how exciting. i can't wait to see them! haha. some of my friends say they don't support brazil cos they're everyone's favourites...just because they won the last world cup. like so what man...to each his/her own.
watched the australia vs japan match just now. omg. how disappointing. 3-1, to australia. sheesh. suddenly reminded of the mj-vj match, where we let in so many goals in the last 10 minutes of the game. same thing with this match. sigh. gambatte, japan. i don't know why, but i like japan. their goalkeeper was fantastic right up till the last few minutes. fast reflexes.
the very first match, germany vs croatia was super exciting...the first 15 minutes of it that is. cos 3 goals were scored withing the first quarter of the game. but after that it was pretty slow. too bad michael ballack wasn't playing, not that germany was crippled without him...
oh and speaking of soccer, i finally watched she's the man!!! it's hilarious. i throroughly enjoyed the movie (apart from the man behind us who laughed so loud, i thought my ears were gonna starte bleeding. it's not even the pleasant, jolly santa claus kinda ho-ho-ho, it's the crazy, psycho, bwahahahaha kinda laugh) cos amanda bynes is awesome. and and channing tatum is HOT.
SPOILERS! he plays duke, the guy amanda (playing viola) likes, but he likes this other girl, who in turn likes viola (except she's posing as her twin brother, sebastian, who ran off to london to play at a rock festival, so the other girl's not a lesbian, idiot, she's just crushing on a girl she thinks is a guy, who posed as one cos her old school cut the girls soccer team and she's trying to prove a point by joining another's school's soccer team so she can beat her old school's soccer team, getting back especially at her ex, the captain of the guys soccer team at her old school, who didn't stand up for her when their coach said boys are stronger than girls and will always be better at soccer), but viola/sebastian doesn't like her much, cos she's using duke to make viola/sebastian jealous.
it's really funny laa... cos amanda bynes makes an awful guy...she goes yo, yo, yo all the time and calls her friends homies. haha. step cool la. i love it. so gonna buy the dvd. haha.
yawn. i think i'm gonna sleep now. and have pleasant dreams about soccer. now reading back on my post, i sound a little high, especially that whole part about she's the man. haha what can i say. i'm just really happy today. because when we met today, it's almost as if we never had any problems in the first place. sigh. how long will it last this time?
